Just thought some of you may be interested in going to the Woman’s World Show, I’ve been before and it’s a great girls day out.
You can get free tickets for the show here :))
Let me know if you go and what you thought?
Yay! Thanks U Magazine. 25% is available on one item only and valid till 21st of April!
I went shopping to buy little man some clothes in my favourite kids shop H&M. The quality of their stuff is great much better than Pennys and their prices are the same as them too pretty much!!
I got all this…..
The Irish Beauty Show is held every year in the RDS Dublin and boy do I love this show so much!! It’s every beauty lovers dream place to shop ;) Lots of great brands and businesses and of corse discounts/bargains and pampering to be had too! I also love finding new brands to try out at this show too.
I met some other lovely Irish beauty bloggers there too, Karen & Joanne from LovelyGirlieBits, Sue from CherrySueDointheDo & Nina from NinasBeautyBargains. So it was nice to have a catch up with them over a coffee.
Well I just wanted to show you what I bought and I’ll be doing reviews on them all which I’m looking forward to over the next few weeks :D
I was very jealous of everyone who got lat month Glossybox so I treated myself this month to one :) Actually I’m waiting on another one as I used a special paypal code to get a glosybox from another month free, yippeee! :D
Here’s what I got:
Dr.Renaud moisturiser smells of raspberries and it’s sickly sweet, also it doesn’t have an SPF so I will only use this at night.
Modelco eyeshadow duo, I thought this would be a good product but the highlighting/shimmer colour is cheap feeling, it’s quite gritty and very hard to blend without there being some colour as you can see in the pic. The brown is nice though, sort of a gold shade to it.
Micabella Cometics Mineral Powder Blush in Terra Cotta I haven’t had a chance to try this yet but it does look nice, not something I would probably buy though as it says it’s £34.95 for 9g
Helen É Liptick in Raspberry is my favourite product from the box, I’d never heard of this brand before. The colour is gorgeous and thank god IT doesn’t smell like raspberries too lol! Feel really moisturising too :)
and a very tasty lollypop which I’m having right now as I type :)
All in all I’m not too impressed but hey at least I’m getting another one free which should be here in a few day and I do always use the boxes for something too ;)
Tell me what you got in your Glossybox this month and did you like them? x
Ok getting a bit obsessed with the diaries….last one I promise haha! Just had to show you what I got in Tescos today. When you buy 2 packs of Keelings strawberries (€5 for 2) you get this super cute diary free. It has loads of great healthy recipes too. I’m thinking of just pulling them pages out and making a little book with them and other recipes I like

Jut thought I’d do a quick post with a few bits I bought in the sales
Well I’m sure most of you know by now that I love Dealz, they have everything from beauty to homeware all at unbeatable prices (most things are all €1.49) So I applied to be a Dealz ambassador to show you their great selection and now I am yippeeee :)
I will be doing more Hauls over the next year and show you all the fabulous deals you can get.
I went in for some Christmas bits and bobs last week. I got 21 items (and some had 2-3 items in each if you know what I mean) all for under €31!! As always I’m amazed at the amount of things I got and the quality too, it may be cheap but not cheap on quality. Also the staff are always very friendly and helpful in Dealz Blanchardstown. The store is always well stocked up and nice spacious isles so it’s easy to get around and find what you’re looking for
Take a look
Beautiful 3 pack of wrapping paper for just €1.49 such good value isn’t it? I’m planning on using the 3-d decorations on some handmade cards :)
Glitter whooo! I’m like a magpie with Christmas decorations lol! My daughter actually came up with the idea to double the tree clip as a hair clip, I think it’s really cute!
Me and glitter are best friends so you can imagine my happiness when I seen this cute red glitter christmas tree (yes I am a glitter-a-holic) perfect little decorations for the table as are the candle holders.
I actually bought the Allura beauty set for myself haha! Handy set to have in the handbag during the Christmas season. The tweezers is AMAZING girls!!!! As good as the ones I pay €10 for, no joke! It’s slanted and gives a great grip on the hairs your plucking.
I will deffo be buying a few more for my handbag, car etc! The nail files with it are also very handy and super cute. And I just love the jewellry stand..again these were all just €1.49 each!
You could get a ton of stocking fillers for just €10
With Christmas being sometimes quite stressfull Radox Unwind bath soak is a must have for me, €1.49 for this big bottle is amazing!. Also the good old Nair for people who hate waxing llike myself.
The highlighter does a pretty good job for the cheekbones too. Brush isn’t great with it but you just use your fingers or a concealer/foundation brush anyway
Not only are the cookies in these cartoon characters tins yummy, but the tins will do for storage of other sweets or toys when empty or hang the lids on the wall and you have budget friendly kids room decor!! :P
Cute lil fella isn’t he? They also have a hanging snowman and Santa :)
I needed a serving tray for the cookies and biscuits eaten over christmas. The embossing on the tray is a really nice touch. You can’t have enough non stick roasting pans when making Christmas dinner either.
Now for your chance to win a €20 voucher, simply….

I remember getting a letter from Santa all the way from the North Pole as a kid and I was soooo amazed like ‘WOW Mam and Dad weren’t lying, Santa DOES know everything”
So now that my little girl is 5 I decided to get one, despite her fear of Santa!? Don’t ask!
Well her little face when she got her letter from Santa and Magic Reindeer food, she was amazed, excited and thrilled that Santa wrote to her and knew everything what she wanted, where she lived and how well she was doing in school etc! Got me so excited for Christmas too just seeing her excitement!
Isn’t it fab and all for only €3.50 that’s including P&P I think that’s fantastic value to see that excitement on kids faces :)) And look at the Santa stamp!!! This is from the lovely Lisa at Byrne-ing Inspiration click HERE for the Facebook page too. You can contact her through Facebook or her website and she will tell you the details that she needs.
She also has beautiful cards and candles etc for all occasions, well worth a look. Tell her I sent you too if you pop by and let me know if you get your child one of these letters, I’m telling you for €3.50 it’s so worth it ad you’ll be supporting an Irish business :) Can’t wait to sprinkle the magic reindeer food on the lawn either…….. it’s glittery haha!

OMG the throw is so so warm and snuggly, I bought it for my lil fella’s cot but I’m so jealous I want it lol! Deffo a must have for the winter, I’m gonna have to go back and get myself one. They come in red and a beige colour too.
Love the draught excluder, it’s really cute and the fleece covered hot water bottle to warm up my bed………….can you tell I don’t like the cold!!!
New mat for winter mucky boots, all mats are 1/2 price from September but I get sale stuff 3 days early in a txt and email, sign up here, they do great half price offers every month! Right now they have all Halloween stuff, laundry baskets and cookware sets half price! :)
Anyone have any other ideas to keep me/the house warm for winter? What’s your fave winter warming tip? Comment below
Thought I’d share with you my kids most loved and played with toys over the years. I love getting value for money and these certainly have done just that. So if your stuck for ideas for some Christmas presents, have a look. My kids are 5 and 1 and a half by the way :)
1. Leapfrog My Pal Scout/Violet – These are under €25 (on special now for €17.99) and just so so cute, you can plug it into your computer and customize the name of your child, their favourite colour, food and animal. There are lots of songs to choose from, they even have christmas ones and the dog sings your child’s name and all hehe!! My little fella loves this and it saved me having to buy him a lullaby player as it does this too, it plays 2, 5 or 10 minutes of bedtime music and says goodnight to your child, again you can change these songs too. My 5 year old wants one too lol!
2. Wooden Pull Along Blocks – Kids love any blocks, my to love stacking them up and knocking them down. Such a classic and cheap too, these ones come with a little pull along to put all their block in and is only €12.99 and part of the 2 for €20 (click for all the toys in that range) at Smyths Toys.
3. My Happy Family Doll House – We’ve had this years and it’s been thrown and flung around the place so it’s incredible sturdy! Doorbell still works and all. The little guy now loves playing with it lol, he sits there for ages putting his toy cars through the windows and door! This year for her Christmas we got the 5 year old the Amelia Doll House, again I’d say they will both love it, great for imaginative play!
4. Rollmatz Play Mat – Great for boys and girls to have pretend little roads for their cars, at only €11.99 too you can’t go wrong :)
5. Groovy Stars Keyboard – Very sturdy piano for kids, my 5 year old loves to make up songs with this and do performances, always out when her friends are around. Lil fella also has fun making not very tuneful tunes haha!
6. Ride ons –Disney Princess/Jake and the Neverland Pirates – A ride on is definitely on the MUST HAVE list for toddlers. My god they love these! We bought a princess one for my daughter when she was about 1 and she still played with it up till last year (she’s all into the flickers and bikes now) She loved going on this in the house as well as outside and the seats lift up so she put some toys and stuff in there. So we got the lil guy the Jake & the Neverland Pirates ride on for Christmas, I hope he loves it as much as the 1st loved hers.
Well there you have it, my top 6 get-your-moneys-worth toys haha! Would love to know what you guys think? Any of these you kids favourites? Or what else would you recommend? Comment below.
